Privacy Policy

This site collects as little as it can.

What we store

• Contact form: the name, contact details and message you send us, kept so we can reply.
• Newsletter: your email address, until you ask to be removed.
• Orders clicked: if you tell us an item you tapped through became an order, we keep that item, what you said about it, your email address, and the country your store was set to. A cookie (maxel_shop) holds a random token so the list is yours on this device — your email is never put in a cookie. We never ask for and never store an Amazon order number, and nothing you enter is sent to Amazon. Delete the whole list and the email behind it, at once, from Orders clicked. A password is optional and is stored only as a bcrypt hash, which cannot be read back.
• My Picks: the products you save live only in your browser's storage; they never reach our server.
• Outbound clicks: which product link was clicked, when, and a one-way hash of your IP address. The hash cannot be turned back into your address.
• Cookies: a session cookie for the admin area, one that remembers your country, and maxel_shop if you start an orders list. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Third parties

Once you click through to Amazon, Amazon's own privacy policy applies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. We use no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels and no social plug-ins.
